Dr. Mackenzie Schneider

Dr. Mackenzie A. Schneider PT, DPT, MSc, CSCS, CISSN, DIP. Osteopractic, FAAOMPT

Dr. Mac is a coach, exercise physiologist, and licensed physiotherapist specializing in the unique components that influence human performance. For more than 10 years, Dr. Mac has developed his skillset through extensive education including post-doctorate Orthopedic Fellowship training, instructing physical therapy students as assistant faculty at Western University of Health Sciences, and remains passionate about optimizing the human condition through exercise like CrossFit, proper nutrition, and implementing successful lifestyle behavior change.

Dr. Mac offers a warm and collaborative approach to physiotherapy treatment. His belief that anyone struggling with pain, movement dysfunction, or life and performance impairments can benefit from a well-constructed, non-conservative, and evidence-backed treatment style. More specifically, a treatment plan that is fitness forward, manual therapy skilled, and psychologically informed.

Dr. Mac earned his Doctorate in Physiotherapy at Western University of Health Sciences in 2019 after attaining his master’s degree in Advanced Exercise Physiology at the University of Idaho in 2016. He also has earned a post-doctorate Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship and Diploma in Osteopractic physiotherapy which specializes in treating unique neuromusculoskeletal conditions. He is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, International Society of Sports Nutrition, and American Academy of Manipulative Therapy and Dry Needling Institute. Most of the year, he spends his time exploring different breweries, hiking outdoor trails, enjoys surfing, and appreciates a good canyon motorcycle ride.
